10KV class SC(8)11/12/13/14/18 epoxy resin cast dry-type transformers can be used as a replacement for oil-immersed distribution transformers. They are the best performing transformers among various dry-type transformers, especially suitable for urban power grids, high-rise buildings, business centers, theaters, hospitals, hotels, tunnels, subways, stations, docks, airports, underground power stations, laboratories, combined substations and other important places.

Temperature Control and Display
The temperature control system consists of a temperature controller and a PTC temperature sensing element installed at the hottest point of the product, i.e., the upper end of the low-voltage winding. It achieves temperature measurement and control of the transformer. If the transformer winding temperature becomes too high due to overload operation or fault, the temperature controller will issue an alarm signal, and the temperature will automatically trip when it exceeds the safe value. When forced air cooling is used, the temperature controller determines the engagement or switching of the cooling fan according to the winding temperature. The temperature display system directly displays the hot spot temperature of the winding during the operation of the transformer, and can be used in conjunction with the temperature control system.
The temperature control and display systems can be installed at a certain distance from the main body of the transformer. The lengths of the temperature sensing element leads are:
Temperature Control: <20m
Temperature Display: <10m (two-wire system)
<100m (two-wire system with compensation wire)
Housing Protection Device
The housing material is stainless steel or aluminum alloy. The protection level reaches IP20 and IP23. The IP20 housing prevents solid foreign objects larger than 12mm in diameter from entering, providing further safety protection for the transformer. The IP23 housing also prevents water droplets from entering at an angle of 60° to the vertical, making it suitable for outdoor operation.
Note: The IP23 housing will reduce the cooling capacity of the transformer, approximately 5% for small capacities and approximately 10% for large capacities.
